Taylor Wilcox is working toward her MD-PhD at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  Remarkably, while working toward both her MD and PhD, she has founded Clinical Connections, a student-led, volunteer-driven organization made up of graduate students, medical students, pharmacology trainees, postdoctoral fellows, and medical residents, that empowers patients by providing clear, accessible information about their medical options.

Her mission is to improve patient access to clinical trials while reducing physician workload through personalized trial matching, clear patient education, and dedicated physician support. Clinical Connections helps to streamline the enrollment process by empowering patients with knowledge and connecting them to the most appropriate research opportunities. Her organization helps to produce patient-friendly summary materials to support recruitment and ongoing participation in clinical trials
